Creatine and Cancer

There has been some talk of creatine (sports supplement) causing cancer. I was a little worried as I was about to start using it daily after my workouts. I found out that this is not true!! Scientists did a study and found that creatine seemed to inhibit tumor growth in animals. This study suggests that creatine is more of an anti-carcinogenic (stops cancer) rather than a pro-carcinogenic (cancer causer). Has anyone heard any thing different? I also heard that if you take a protein drink/supplement a little after the creatine this will also help get results. But most protein drinks have some form of caffeine in them and research has found that caffeine significantly counteracts with the positive effects of the creatine. Is this true? I don't think I'm sold yet.
