Creatine Side Effects

I am after abs of steel and I know that I need to get my body fat down to start seeing any muscles at all. Body builders say doing crunches, reverse crunches, hanging leg raises and sit ups only once or twice a week is best for definition and the daily running is the best way of trimming the fat. I am looking into supples to help define the muscle and I thought that creatine might do this. I know that creatine helps the muscle to retain fluid so it puts the abs in to a great muscle building state so you can get more from your workout but will this fluid retention end up 'hiding' the abs of steel that I will be creating? I saw this ebook that had info about creatine side effects and it talks about safe way to take creatine. This might actually answer all of my questions! It said that there are precautions that you need to take if you are a diabetic, have high blood pressure or even if you get acne. Probably worth a read.
